General Ballet - Advanced

General Advanced Ballet is a continuation from General Beginner Ballet offering a slightly more challenging unset class for adults who have mastered the basics and want to learn slightly more complex steps and enchainements.

The class constitutes free work, starting off with a warm-up, barre work, centre practice and finishing with more complex allegro (jump) combinations. Under 18’s who wish to transfer to a RAD Graded syllabus class at some point can be assessed in this class and then placed in the most suitable grade for their age and ability.

RECOMMENDATION

For greater results, we would recommend at least 2 lessons per week, as a combination of any other adult class, not including the earlier Beginners class

FEE

£45 per half term, £8.50 per Drop-In class for Adults only.

PAYMENT

Adults can enrol and pay for Drop-In classes online using the link at the top of this page. You will need to create a Welland Portal account to do so.

There is no set uniform for Adult Ballet although some of our teens do like to purchase the RAD approved uniform, whilst others feel more comfortable in tight fitting t-shirt and leggings or gym wear. We do recommend you purchase ballet shoes if you know you will be attending regularly as it can be quite hard to turn or jump barefoot.
